RECCO- ITALIAN LONGBOARD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

The Italian Longboard Championship 2025 lit up the Ligurian coast with clean waves, sunshine, and community vibes.

The small Ligurian coastal village of Recco hosted this year’s edition of the Italian Longboard Championship, presented by FISWBlackwave Recco, Hurley & Jeep.

The Bay of Recco framed the final call for the Italian Longboard Division. From the early morning, clean and well-shaped waves rolled into the bay, offering ideal conditions for competition. A total of 25 athletes — 19 men and 6 women — from all over Italy entered the water to battle for the national titles.

On the beach, a large part of the Italian longboard community gathered to watch, celebrate, and share the stoke under a splendid autumn sun.

The men’s final was tightly contested, with minimal differences separating the top surfers. Matteo Fabbri claimed the national title, followed by Stefano Frassetto, who kept the pressure high until the very end of the heat- that last wave!, in second placeFilippo Marullo finished third, and Mattia Maiorca fourth.

In the women’s division, victory went to Camilla Cocco, ahead of Carla MossedduMarta Tartarini, and Valentina Marconi.
